Kats on cats 1

Everybody has a guilty pleasure. For some it is playing video games, for others, hobbies such as scrap booking. For me…it is watching cat videos. There is nothing I adore more after a rough day than sitting down and searching for “fat silly cats” on youtube. Now…I don’t think you understand. My father has horrendous allergies, especially to mammals. Due to this, as a child, the most exciting pet I owned was a multitude of bulbous-headed sea monkeys in a submerged plastic castle. I owned a Guinea pig as well, but she wasn’t too much fun…plus Sugar “Pig” Kats met her untimely demise when she was found to have some tragic Guinea pig-specific cancer. These events have led me to have an aching void within my heart. A void that can be filled by only the most plump, silly, and discontent looking cats I am able to view.

It is clear that I am not the only person with this sort of love, cat-related videos on youtube have reached millions of views. There are even “famous” cats such as Maru, the majestic feline who loves jumping into boxes, Mochi- the angry looking cat who sits like a human and eats apples, and that darling “Surprised Kitty” who was…well…rather surprised.

I am shocked there is no correlation between cat video-viewing and the release of Seratonin, because I certainly feel loads more pleasant after seeing them. So, without further ado, here is a compilation of my favourite cat, Maru’s, grand moments.
